Jen Tomski

Co-Founder & Executive Director of Kai Communications, Content Creator

Jen Tomski is a content creator and entrepreneur based in Edmonton. She has a passion for supporting the community through social media whether it be using her personal channels, @thatsreallyjen or by directly helping businesses manage and create content for their own channels through her company, Kai Communications. Jen is well-versed in all things social media and always staying on top of new trends; she has grown her personal social media to a collective audience of over 75,000 on Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube by highlighting new & exciting things happening in and around Edmonton.

Jen has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and has experience working with many industries primarily including food, travel, beauty, real estate and tech. In her free time, you'll find Jen hiking through the mountains, travelling or simply finding the next hip coffee shop to work at.

Alex San Diego

Co-Founder, Creative Director of Kai Communications

Alex (she/they) is a Filipina-Canadian born and raised in Edmonton, on Treaty 6 Territory. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in East Asian Studies - a combination of their love for research, writing, language, culture, and media.

Alex began their marketing and communications career in 2015, joining West Edmonton Mall’s digital marketing team as a Social Media Representative. They believe in using the power of communication to make the world a better place and applies this to their volunteer work as a mental health advocate.
